A distinguished leader with over 25 years of extensive experience, Mr. Kelepile Dintwe brings unparalleled strategic insight and operational expertise to the Orpington Group Advisory Board. Currently serving as the Chairperson of the Board for the Council for Geoscience (CGS), a role he assumed in June 2023, Mr. Dintwe guides South Africa’s national geoscience institution with vision and authority. His profound understanding of the mining and infrastructure development sectors, coupled with a proven track record in senior leadership, makes him an invaluable addition to our team.

Mr. Dintwe’s career is marked by significant senior management appointments, including a substantial 13-year tenure at AngloGold Ashanti Ltd (AGA). At AGA, he progressed through various engineering technical and junior management roles before rising to senior leadership. Notably, he served as Vice President for Sustainability and Stakeholder Relations, a critical role that included an impactful three-year secondment to Ghana. Here, he championed community development initiatives and fostered strong government relations, demonstrating his commitment to responsible business practices and continental impact.

Beyond his direct mining leadership, Mr. Dintwe has also served as a Non-Executive Chairperson for the Bigen Group, a leading infrastructure development solutions company. His diverse background comprehensively spans business strategy, investor relations, operations management, and government relations, all underpinned by his engineering foundation and a strong focus on driving sustainable development across the African continent. His acumen in navigating complex industry challenges will be a significant asset to the Orpington Group.
